From Co-Op Student to Agency Owner
Jonathan's career in insurance didn't start in a corner office. It started at 16, in a high-school co-op program that placed him inside an agency before most of his classmates had their first job. That early exposure turned into a career — 21 years of placing coverage, learning carriers, and building relationships with clients who came back year after year.
About eight years ago, Jonathan founded NexGen Risk Solutions with a clear purpose: build an independent agency that put coverage quality and client relationships ahead of everything else. At the end of 2024, he completed the purchase of his original mentor and partner's stake in the agency — a milestone that closed one chapter and opened another. NexGen is fully, independently his, and he intends to be here for the next 20 years too.
